Karen Strauss, LCSW

      Psychotherapy

About The Process

I use an active, collaborative approach so that together, we can
understand, explore, discuss, challenge thoughts and feelings, and create goals.
My focus is to empower your transformation by drawing on cognitive behavioral
therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution focused therapy, family systems and hypnotherapy.

I take a holistic approach to healing, focusing on each client’s unique
psychological, social and spiritual attributes.

I believe in the strength of a safe, collaborative, supportive, non–judgmental therapeutic
relationship as the basis of helping you identify patterns, overcome obstacles,
gain insight, heal, motivate change, grow, thrive and move through the world
in a meaningful, purposeful and authentic way.
